I wish we had a boring competent government. I don't care about the party . Just a government that puts the welfare of ordinary Albertans ahead of ideological positions.

Kenney's detractors and challengers stand like pygmies against his intellect and political knowledge.

The fact that there is no credible replacement is what is securing his position right now, as far as I can tell.

Yeap. It speaks to the naivety of the former WR members in mounting a coup with no plan for what might happen after that coup

Kenney has indeed become an embarrassment to Alberta and the rest of the country. In particular as a social conservative he has proven once again that they are all about taking things away the rights, freedoms and agency of those they deem not fit for Canadian society. It is good to watch them consume themselves once again.

Regardless of their validity, how do those statements apply to Kenny's term as Premier? For example, some of them date as far back as the late 1980's.

Alleged social policy is almost always used to distract from real policy as social issues are more personal and therefore more emotional.

I'm disappointed in Kenney for wasting so much unpopularity without making unpopular decisions. He ran on an austerity platform and hasn't delivered.
