Rounding up the really, really stupid stuff we're being forced to deal with. This week, we'd like to know what the hell Chrystia Freeland is trying to pull.
It seems like dumb ideas are evenly spread across the parties, yah, like manure. Would be refreshing to see one of these leaders own their BS and come clean. Is that too much to ask?
I expected The Line to be up to the job of calling out campaign bullshit, but honestly the Canadian media in general has upped its game this time around. What changed?
Great coverage. The Freeland effort barely deserves the word-count, though, because that level of "framing" is endemic in an election, gets filtered by my optic nerve before it reaches the brain, it's become so automatic.
When I read something and a bunch of the words blur, I realize that some bit of political lying is so obvious and easy that the few million neurons in my optic nerves were sufficient to catch it and screen it. Silicon ain't the only processor that can do simpleminded algorithms.
