Congratulations on your first year. Excellent commentary, with a point of view not exactly mainstream that contrasts with much of the conventional Canadian media. The viewpoint diversity is good, keep that up.

For vaccines we have to give credit where credit is due. China and Big Pharma. The Liberals were pretty keen to jump into bed with Can Sino, but China screwed us, just because they could. We were forced into the arms of Big Pharma, and it was defintely smart to have options with all of the major players, and one of them has really paid off. CanSino has turned out to be one of the least effective vaccines, so we dodged a bullet on that one.

I must admit, I have some trepidation about Alberta's covid policy. I asked a friend who is a cardiac specialist at a big hospital, and her remark was that everyone is going to have to make those moves eventually, we shouldn't be concentrating on just one disease, when there are so many other problems.

The next year is bound to be interesting, in many ways, and I am looking forward to more incisive commentary.
