Dispatch from the Front Line: Stop asking us to believe bullshit
And Liberals, if you actually want to avoid a wipeout, get Guilbeault out of cabinet already and stop tweeting such inane bromides. Enjoy your seafood, though.
Happy Family Day long weekend, friends. We hope you’ve had a great one. Two quick programming notes before we get into it, Lineys; firstly, as promised, Gerson and Gurney will be holding an event in Calgary on April 19. We are going to hold a podcast recording, followed by a meet-and-greet at a local pub … for paid subscribers. Expect more details in coming weeks, but we plan to keep this an affordable and fun night out with Canada’s best people, obvs. Come have some nachos and beers with us!
Which brings us to our second note: we notice that a few of you beloved (once) paid subscribers’ have lapsed back into freebie status. Just a reminder, that like all subscription-based media platforms, we lose a small percentage of our paid readers to things like credit card expiries every month. As a result, if you haven’t already, please do consider re-upping — not only will you get access to our weekly dispatches, but now, also, fun social events! As well, you’ll be helping support independent Canadian journalism at a time when the bottom is very rapidly falling out of the legacy outlets.
To that end, we’re offering a special February break offer. Subscribe now for a 25 per cent discount. Read all about Steven Guilbeault’s vision for a roadless Canada, and why the NDP has us reconsidering the ban on tobacco advertising, after the paywall. But don’t wait long: this deal is only valid for a few days.
Now that you’ve re-upped, please enjoy our latest dispatch video!
You can listen to the podcast version here. Also at that link is information on where to find our podcast on all the major platforms.
The podcast is going great for us, but we can always do better. If you can, please like, share and subscribe. It helps!
