Thank you for showing the graph on vaccination intention; it's the reason why The Line is awesome. I can't stand it when editors prop up their damned lies with statistics. The most one can infer from the graph is that, save for PPC partisans, the vast majority of Canadians intend to get the jab, regardless of political affiliation. But let me play editor who wants to pander to my readers' confirmation biases. I could claim that this graph shows that those of the progressive ilk are more likely to unthinkingly place their faith in big government and take an unproven vaccine. God-awful words but no less untrue than the other spin.

I hope you’re first in line for the vaccine. Which I’m sure you realize is entirely experimental. Anyone who even remotely suggests this vaccine is a good idea is complicit in the serious effects which could befall takers. Media is complicit. You should be very careful. And more sceptical. And report with greater accuracy.

On the Feds' vaccine rollout -- I have a family member in England who sent me this today:

"Oh and I don't know if you've heard but the UK is the first country in the world to approve a covid 19 vaccine so administration is starting next week, with priority going to the most vulnerable and care staff."

That said, what would "success" look like here? When do Canadians need to start getting poked en masse?
