Building on the comment about the parliamentary system working since Cromwell, why haven't the things McCullough is crying wolf about happened-at all-in either Canada or Britain? When has anybody actually tried to usurp power the way he mentions?
I don't know this McCullough dude, but he sure has raised some hackles here at The Line, as evidenced by the column inches devoted to explaining the Westminster system. Which, as a geek of the Constitution Acts of 1867 and 1982, I greatly appreciated!
