I had listened to a radio talk show on this very subject to which a past CSIS member was interviewed on the validity of parliament voting on who was to be listed as a terrorist group. This is the first time in the history of Canada that Parliament ever voted on who should be on the list as a terrorist group. The Professor is correct that it is CSIS that does the work and is the one to add any group to such a list. So when Bill Blair stated that this was not politicized, it was a blatant lie and he knew that when he spoke the words. Or he should have. Nothing the Liberals do surprises me as they deem themselves the power over all just like any dictatorship. They frighten me. Even worse, although I can not verify it, it was said to be a unanimous vote and that even the Conservatives voted for this. Its quite shocking and I hope that the Proud Boys, to which I truly know nothing about other than them being mentioned in the insurrection in the US, can take this to a court and have it over turned. This government seems to want to circumvent our traditional methods of doing things and that in itself, along with the decimation of our Constitution since they were elected, should be questioned and feared.

I'd like to know the numbers for the vote in the House of Commons.

We just watched the effect in the US of the tacit approval given by some of their government.

Legality aside, a near unanimous vote in the H of C might provide some disincentive to joining these idiots.
